Part A, Phrase 2

Bowing:
- This second phrase has the same bowing patterns as the first phrase, so everything I said on the previous page applies here.
Fingering:
- Notice that in the video it looks like all three fingers come down on the A string at once. That's almost true, but not quite. The 1st and 3rd fingers do come all the way down and in their correct positions; but the 2nd finger is just sort of lightly resting on the string, and it's not exactly in position.
- It's really about mid-way between the 1st and 2nd fingers.
- It's available to slide up against the 3rd finger to play a note on the A string if needed, but in this case it isn't.
- For the D string notes, just like in the first phrase, raise and lower your 1st and 2nd fingers together to play the notes.
- To get correct placement for the 3rd finger note on the D string, just squeeze the 3rd finger up against the 2nd finger, which is already down and in position.
