Part A, Phrase 4

Bowing:
- No new bowing issues here. The general idea is to regulate your bow speed so you can play your slurs and still have enough bow length available to do what comes next. Mostly you do this by using a fast, single note stroke from time to time to "catch up."
- The last note in this phrase has the value of a half note in standard notation (four 8th notes). In tab, you can tell this by the fact that there is a lot of open space after the note. Otherwise it looks just like a quarter note (which is followed by some open space, but not as much as a half note).
- The last bow stroke in the phrase covers an 8th note and then a half note (a total value of five 8th notes in all). This means you'll need lots of bow length, so you need to start pretty far up on the bow. Notice in the video that I start well above the middle and end up down close to the frog.
Fingering:
- The fingering in this phrase is the same as in Phrase 2 except for the last note.
